At GoldenWave Sauna, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below.
1. Policy Summary
- Return Window: 30 days from the date of delivery.
- RMA Required: All returns must have an authorized Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Damaged/Wrong Items: We cover 100% of return shipping and fees.
- Buyer’s Remorse: Customer covers return shipping; original shipping may be deducted.
- Refund Processing: 3–5 business days after inspection.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- The return request is submitted within 30 days of delivery.
- The item is clean, undamaged, and complete (including all accessories, manuals, and original packaging).
- The product is uninstalled (function-tested items must show no scratches, odors, or wiring modifications).
- Non-Returnable Items: Customized/made-to-order units, Final Sale/Clearance items, refurbished products, or items missing original packaging.
Refurbished Products: Refurbished items are not eligible for the 30-day return policy. However, they are covered under the same warranty terms as new products.
3. Return Shipping Costs & Fees
- Our Error or Shipping Damage: If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we cover 100% of the return and replacement shipping costs.
- Customer-Choice Returns (Buyer’s Remorse): If you return an item for reasons such as "changed my mind" or "ordered the wrong size," you are responsible for the actual return freight costs. This cost will be deducted from your final refund.
- Restocking Fees: We do not charge a standard restocking fee.
- Partial Refunds: To receive a full refund (minus shipping), items must be in original condition. If an item shows signs of use, unreported damage, or missing parts, a partial refund may be issued.
Note: The final refund amount will be determined based on the results of the warehouse inspection and will be confirmed with the customer in writing via a detailed inspection report.
4. How to Start a Return (RMA Process)
- Request: Email info@goldenwavesauna.com with your order number, photos/video of the item, and the reason for return.
- Approval: We will issue an RMA number, the return address, and shipping instructions within 1–2 business days.
- Ship Back: Dispatch the item within 14 days of receiving your RMA. Use original or equivalent protective packaging and clearly mark the RMA on the outer carton.
- Inspection: Upon receipt at our U.S. warehouse, we will inspect the unit within 3–5 business days.

5. Freight Damage & Shortages
Inspection is critical for palletized sauna units.
- At Delivery: Inspect the shipment with the driver present. Note any damage on the Delivery Receipt (BOL).
- Reporting: You must report visible damage to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and product.
- Resolution: We will provide replacement parts at no charge, arrange a replacement unit, or issue a full refund if a repair is not feasible.
6. Order Cancellations
- Standard Orders: Full refund if canceled before shipment.
- Custom/Made-to-Order: Cancellations made after 24 hours of ordering incur a 10% cancellation fee if production has already begun.
- Post-Shipment: Cancellations made after an item has shipped are treated as "Buyer’s Remorse" returns.
7. Refund Method & Timing
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Once processed, funds typically appear in your account within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
